CEO change announced for PVGH

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — One of the first major steps in the recently signed management agreement between Pauls Valley General Hospital and St. Anthony Health System has now been set in motion, one which begins with the reevaluation of leadership.

Official as of a PVGH board meeting Monday, the decision was made to make a change starting at the top, with the announcement of a new CEO, according to Loren Cronin, chairman. Following the recommendation made by officials from St. Anthony to hire Bridgette Cosby to take on the position currently held by Gayle Sturgis, board members approved the recommendation set to take effect after the management agreement begins Feb. 1.

For those interested in attending, there will be a town hall meeting at the hospital today at 1 p.m. for the employees and public. Cosby is not expected to be in attendance, though the event is a formal chance for people to have questions they might have answered.
