Steven Todd Ward of Pauls Valley was born April 12, 1990 in Ada, Oklahoma to Joe Ward and Tammy (Bailey) Ward.
He passed away June 16, 2011 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years.
He worked as a Farm and Ranch Hand and has made this area his home all of his life. Steven was a 2009 graduate of the Pauls Valley High School where he was very active in the FFA and was 2009 President of FFA. He enjoyed riding horses, roping, riding 4-wheelers at the river and spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his maw, Fay Ward; uncle, Lloyd Burk Jr.; and his great-grandparents.
His surviving family include his parents, Joe and Tammy Ward; grandparents: Pud Ward, Lloyd and Joann Burk, and Gary and Debbie Bailey; brother, Juston Ward and Ruby Clark; a nephew, Colby; sister, Kayla Jo Ward and J. D. Pogue; uncles: Earnest Ward, Justin Ward and wife Cindy, Chad Bailey and wife Cindi, James Bailey and wife Amy, Rocky Howard and Darrin Tucker and Ladona; aunt, Kaci Townley and husband, Thomas; a niece, Kamryn Townley; aunt Becky Wainscott; great-aunt Wanda McPherson; as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. Ronnie Beaty. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
