New books added this past week are “The Book Of Lies” by Brad Meltzer, “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer, “If You Could See Me Now” by Cecelia Ahern, “The Sunday Philosophy Club” and “Friends, Lovers, Chocolate,” both by Alexander McCall Smith and “A Mckettrick Christmas” by Linda Lael Miller.
In non-fiction we have “Born-Again Vintage” by Bridgett Artise and “Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World” by Vicki Myron.
We didn’t have many at Storytime Wednesday, but we did have fun making Christmas trees of construction paper and stickers and watching the VHS film of “Disney’s Sing-Along-Songs: Very Merry Christmas Songs” with the words and the bouncing ball ... remember when we would sing in the movie theaters?
This tape has some of Disney’s vintage Christmas clips and the kids love it.
I had a great time on vacation ... and now am looking forward to having our oldest son Wayne and his family home for the holidays.
Stay warm and safe and visit your library soon and often.
