New books added to the shelves are “Texas! Lucky” by Sandra Brown, “Fire and Ice” by Julie Garwood, “Show No Fear” by Perri O’Shaughnessy, “Casting Spells” by Barbara Bretton and “Stranger in Paradise” by Robert B. Parker.
Not new but new to us are “Killer Weekend” (2007) by Ridley Pearson, “A Christmas Visitor” by Thomas Kinkade, “Innocent in Death (2007) by Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb and “Storm Runners” (2007) by T. Jefferson Parker.
Now that Christmas and New Year celebrations are over, pleas check around in your house or car and return any overdue books to the library.
We really need our books back on the shelves so others may enjoy them.
I have seen bald eagles on Longmire Lake and in trees by the river at Low Water Crossing.
We are also seeing lots of geese and ducks on the ponds that still have water in them.

Man behind the blinking lights
Every December, for the last three years, the residence at 401 N. Pine in Pauls Valley has been a main attraction for motorists from all over the area. - It’s a dash to the shelve New fiction at the library includes “Dashing Through the Snow” by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark, “One Perfect Day” by Lauraine Snelling (LP) and “Cross Country” by James Patterson.
