Pauls Valley —
Dear Editor,
I am writing to let you know that there are some people who do believe in healthcare reform.
I am a widow who is working to maintain healthcare at an affordable price. There is no way under the sun that I can get health insurance with a preexisting condition such as diabetes.
I ask the American citizens why shouldn’t we have the same coverage that our senators and congressmen have?
They pay nothing for their coverage and who do you think is paying for “Their” insurance? We are!
The American people deserve the same insurance for the same price! They are our public employees!
There is not much else to say except; thank God for the Christians who voted to make healthcare a right of ALL the American people!

To the Editor:
As a business owner and legislator, I’ve learned that the best government is the kind that doesn’t get in the way when private companies choose to invest in our state to make our lives better and more productive. - Questions about HB 2780 and HB 2656
