Quick thinking by Wal-Mart employees

Pauls Valley — Dear Editor,

Wal-Mart employees are to be commended for their quick thinking and observation.

Last Friday, I had parked my car in a handicapped space, lengthwise, near the Wal-Mart store entrance. My handicapped husband chose to remain in the car since I had only three items to purchase.

While in the store I heard my named called over the intercom to go to the service desk. A young man employee said my car had rolled down hill, but it had been stopped by an employee before anyone was injured or any damage to other vehicles.

Thanks to all of you for your observation and quick actions.

Mary and Roy Jarrel
