EC reunion takes in the Ozarks
Pauls Valley — Members of the Elmore City Class of 1957 and their friends recently got together as they spent three days in Branson, Mo.
The group toured the city, lake area and the College of the Ozarks as they also enjoyed some shows, the food and a lot of friendly people.
Those enjoying the trip from Elmore City were Bill and Glenda Blackwood, David and Dora Chapman, Lynnette (LaMascus) Hanun, Loretha (Evans) Hammett, Alberta Reynolds and Rose Snelgrooes.
From Pauls Valley were Nancy Tucker, Louise Norman and Jimmie (Evans) Woody.
Others included Neva (Shirley) Troy of Edmond, Floyd and Betty Carter of Wynnewood, Jerry and Elaine Simmons of Davis, Beverly (McIntyre) Johnson of Kingston, Marcena (Pickens) Henderson of Mead, Okla., Pat and Alverna Kennedy of Blair, Okla., Darrell and Glenda Tracy of Broken Arrow, George Seaton of Ada, June Stelding of Bedford, Texas, Alice (Reynolds) Bush of Aledo, Texas, Elaine Kennedy of Denton, Texas, Pat (Nale) Hanson of Irving, Texas, Elba (Graham) Pyle of Lockney, Texas, Lonnie Combes of Dallas, Jerry and Ida Mae Damron of Farmington, N.M., and Ruth and Jerry Kennedy of Watonga, who were the planners and guides for the trip.

Holiday hunt for drunk drivers
It’s won’t be a holiday this weekend for law enforcement, which includes Pauls Valley’s police department already on the hunt as part of a national campaign focused on finding drunk drivers.
