Pauls Valley residents can hear about the 2010 Oklahoma legislative session and other political issues at a Friday lunch.
The Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a free lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 at the Holiday Inn Express in Pauls Valley.
Sen. Susan Paddack, D-Ada, who represents District 13, is scheduled to speak, along with field representatives for Oklahoma’s congressional delegation.
Rep. Lisa Billy, R-Purcell, expects to attend, but has a meeting Friday morning in Shawnee which could prevent her from getting to Pauls Valley, according to Pauls Valley chamber Director Della Wilson.
Amber Pollard is to speak on behalf of Rep. Tom Cole. Sen. James Inhofe is to be represented by Ron Massey and Gregory Treat is to speak for Sen. Tom Coburn.
After brief remarks by the elected officials or their representatives, questions from the audience will be accepted, Wilson said.
The lunch is open to anyone interested. No RSVPs are needed.
