Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Jim Grady, 72, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on October 29, 2012. He was born November 7, 1939 in Compton, California.

He was raised and grew up in Elmore City, Oklahoma. He was the recipient of the perfect attendance award for all 12 years of his education.

He loved spending time with his friends and was a dedicated fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. Grady was a member of the Teamsters Local 631 and proud of his Irish heritage.

Survivors include his son Jerry Armstrong, sister Dorothy Mascott, brothers Jack (Lee) Grady and David (Mary) Wynn and his loving companion De Ann Duty.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia and sister Mary Evelyn Mayden.

Private services will be held.
