Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Mary Lea Rains Criss, 93, was born Sept. 21, 1919 at Wynona , Okla., to Layton Allen and Bessie Birdy Baker.

She passed away Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 2012 at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Criss has been a resident of Maysville for many years. She and her husband came to Maysville from Oklahoma City in 1973 to be near other family members. She was a member of the Beaty Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26 at the Winans Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.. Eldon Archer and J.R. Williams.

Burial was at the Maysvillle Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
