Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Junelle Spence of Paoli, was born January 15, 1919 in Garvin County, Oklahoma to Hugh and Myrtie J. (Coker) Beaty.

She passed away October 13, 2012 in Paoli, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years.

She was married to Kennard M. Spence May 23, 1940 and was a School Teacher for over 42 years. She was also an avid member of the Paoli Baptist Church where she greatly enjoyed singing in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Myrtie J. Beaty; husband, Kennard M. Spence; and sister, Glenna Russell.

Surviving family include her nieces and nephews: Cynthia Ann and Dr. Nathan Cope and their son Haldavid Cope, all of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Dr. Dean Spence and his wife Cheryl of Oklahoma City, Larry Spence and his wife Emily of Pauls Valley, Mary Jane Elkins and her husband Gordon of Arizona, Glenna Archer and her husband Bill of El Paso, Texas; as well as Sue, Bernice, Allice and Edward Beam.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor John Allen.

Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
