Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Rexanne Rushing, age 53, of Pauls Valley entered this life born to C.A. and June (Rowland) Groves Jr. on June 18, 1959 in Longview, Texas and entered eternal life January 3, 2013.
Rexanne attended Longview Public Schools and upon graduation attended Kilgore Junior College.
Rexanne and Jerry Rushing were united in marriage on August 10, 2004. Boating and fishing with her husband were her favorite hobbies. She enjoyed all water activites.
Being married to her soulmate Jerry Rushing was the highlight of her life. Rexanne’s life demonstrated the importance of caring for and helping others.
She enjoyed the company of her family and friends, and she took time to spend her days in that fashion.
Rexanne is survived by her husband Jerry Rushing; mother June Groves, step-daughters Kristi Cheznock and Kim Pordue and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rushing were held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma where Bro. Dean officiated.
Eddie Thompson, Steve Brooks, Bill Rushing, Rodney Wright, Nathan Mullett and Bill Roady will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com.
