Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Calvin Jerry Peltier Jr., 37, of Elmore City was born to Calvin Jerry Peltier Sr. and Jeanette (McGregor) Mercer on March 26, 1975 in Lawton, Okla., and passed from this life on Jan. 24, 2013.

Calvin grew up and attended school at Elmore City. He then went to work in the oil field. In his spare time, Calvin enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28 in the Elmore City Cemetery.
