Pauls Valley, Oklahoma —
Gerald Dewayne Harrel passed away suddenly in Oklahoma City at St. Anthony with his family and loved ones present.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Isaac and Opal, and by his beloved grandchildren: Cree, Te, and Jeremy.
He is survived by his wife, Almeda, and his children: Larry, Terry, Leasa, Stephanie, Troy, and Travis; his brother, Johnny, and sister, Helen; his grandchildren: Summer, Kassidy, Kaden, Roman, Luree, Sage, and Jamie.
G.D. was a graduate of Pernell High School and East Central State University. He spent his life as an accomplished cattleman raising registered Black Angus cattle.
During his retirement years he crafted fine Western furniture enjoyed by many friends and family. He will be remembered as a lover of Willie Nelson’s music, as an appreciator of fertile farm land and strong livestock, and as a friend to everyone who crossed his path.
Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Balentine officiating.
