Billy Guy Smith

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Billy Guy Smith, 34, a resident of Pauls Valley, was born on July 6, 1978 in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Beverly (Rowland) Badgley and Guy William Smith Jr.

Billy grew up and attended school in Wynnewood, Okla., and spent his life living in Wynnewood until October 16, 2009 when he married Kari Beth (Frazee) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and returned to make his home in Pauls Valley, Okla.

Billy worked at the Wynnewood Refinery. He had been a member of the Cub Scouts and was a Wynnewood Alumni. He was a loving father who was raising his 3 step children, whom he considered his own, and his son Rogan.

He is survived by his wife – Kari Beth Smith of the home; son – Rogan Garrett Smith of the home; step son – Carrson French of the home; step daughter – Makayla French of the home; step daughter – Makenna French of the home; father and step mother – Guy William Smith Jr. and Jeannie Ward Smith of Rush Springs, Okla.; mother and step father – Beverly Rowland Badgley and Steve Badgley of Wynnewood, Okla.; brother – Steven Scott Collier of Wynnewood, Okla.; step sisters – Misty Ryan, Jennifer Badgley, and Amber Ward; and step brother – Cheyenne Ward.

Services will be held on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Okla., officiated by Rev. Lynn Phillips and Rev. Scott Thomas. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Okla.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wynnewood Band or the Pauls Valley or Wynnewood Boy Scouts.
