Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Hoyt Goggans, 82, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Springdale.

He was born March 15, 1930 in Lamb County, Texas, the son of A.C. “Buck” and Maggie Virginia Hukill Goggans.

He was self employed and a member of the Eastgate Church of Christ in Siloam Springs. He and his wife moved to this area from Arkansas City, Kansas in 2000.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister June Goggans and longtime family friend Otis Scott.

He is survived by his wife Jo Farley Goggans of the home; son Cliff Goggans and wife Pamela; grandchildren Justin and Carley, all of Siloam Springs; his brother Terry Goggans of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and longtime family friends Mary Jo Scott and Donna Broyles.

Cremation arrangement by Benton County Funeral Home with a private family memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or Highland Oncology c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers, Arkansas 72756.
