Pauls Valley, Oklahoma —
Helen Erickson, of Pauls Valley, passed away December 25, 2012 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.
She was born March 26, 1934 in Rosedale, Oklahoma to Ray and Cecil (Gowens) Richardson. The Pauls Valley area has been her home most of her life.
She was a Cook for 17 years at the Pauls Valley State School and for 7 years at the Dairy Twist in Pauls Valley and was a member of Wynnewood Church of Christ.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rhonda Fryar; one sister and three brothers.
Surviving family include her husband, Keelon Erickson of the home; son, Jimmy Hamilton and his wife Dorothy of Pauls Valley; three stepdaughters: Annette Murphy of Molines, Illinois, Diane Huett of Soperton, Georgia, and Tera Brockert of Muscatine, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Brumley of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance, officiated by Todd McRay. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
