Mary T. Lusk
Mary T. Lusk of Pauls Valley was born September 17, 1925 in Binghamton, New York to Hiram and Edna Tongue.
She passed away July 29, 2008, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.
New Jersey was home in her youth. Mary was married to Ernest O. “Toby” Lusk in Weatherford, Oklahoma on June 4, 1976 and later moved from Redding, California to make Pauls Valley her home in 1967.
She was retired from Pauls Valley General Hospital where she worked as a nurses aide and since her retirement has worked with the Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Toby, in 2006; a son, Michael Daniels, in 2007; as well as a sister; and a brother.
Surviving family include her four children: William Lansdale and his wife Marty of Tulsa, John Daniels and his wife Linda of Duncan, James Daniels and his wife Kim of Bremerton, Washington, and David Lansdale and his wife Jerri of Pauls Valley; one sister, Beverly Ross of Binghamton, New York; 11 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Tom Buzbee.
Interment will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
