Lloyd Carroll Embree
Lloyd Carroll Embree of El Cajon, formerly of Pauls Valley, was born May 14, 1966 in Enid, Oklahoma to Billy Wayne and Julia (Poole) Embree.
He passed away September 25, 2009 in El Cajon, California at the age of 43 years.
Lloyd moved to Pauls Valley in 1969. He attended schools in Pauls Valley and is a 1984 graduate of Pauls Valley High School. He furthered his education by attended the Oklahoma University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 1988.
Following his graduation, he moved to California and has made his home there since 1988.
Surviving family include his parents, Billy Wayne and Julia Embree of Stratford; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Tammy Embree and and their son, Billy, of Mobile, Alabama; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Bill Syversen and their children, Matthew and Jessica of DeKalb, Illinois.
The family requests that memorials for Lloyd Carroll Embree be made to the Nora Sparks-Warren Library at 210 N. Willow in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma 73075.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday evening, October 8, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Cumberland Cemetery near Madill. Interment is under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. Notes of Remembrance and/or Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stufflebeanfuneralhome.com.
