Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Carroll Burleson Lofton, 75, of Stratford was born Feb. 24, 1937 in Durant, Okla., to Edward Burleson and Ruby Vay (Jarman) Lofton. He passed away Dec. 7, 2012 in Sulphur, Okla.

He was an airline mechanic, and he served our country in the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea, and Vietnam. He and his wife Nita moved to Stratford in 1991.

Services were held Monday afternoon, Dec. 10 at the Pickard Funeral Home Chapel in Stratford. Burial was at Troy Cemetery in Mill Creek, Okla.
