For both the Stratford Bulldogs and the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers a win and their season continues, a loss and their season comes to an end.
The only points involved will be the final score and the winner of this rivalry game will be the fourth place finisher in the district.
Elmore City had an impressive win last week over Caddo. Quinton Stueart had a great game with over 230 yards in total offense and four touchdowns.
Shane Collins has been a mainstay in the Badger offense. He has the ability to throw the ball like he did last week against Caddo for 131 yards but he also has break-away speed in the run game.
Zack Burks is another player that has been a force in the Badger backfield.
Stratford will have to slow down those three if they expect to win.
Stratford has had solid play from running back Dakota Noland all season. They will look to him to help carry them into playoffs.
Randy Brown is also a player that has been solid offensively for the Bulldogs. Brown has the ability to run or pass the ball and is a threat every time he touches the ball.
The trenches is where this battle could be won. Both teams are very similar up front and which ever team can get a push and create some holes will have a definite advantage.
Defensively, the two squads are very similar. Both run hard to the football and both are not afraid to lay a helmet on an opposing teams player.
This game will be full of emotion as both look to advance to the playoffs.
Kick off at Blackburn Field in Stratford is set for 7:30 p.m.
