The Stratford Bulldogs won another Big 8 Conference regular season crown on Monday with a 77-67 win over Community Christian. The win gave the Bulldogs 7 conference wins against 0 losses and yet another conference title to their credit.
Three Bulldogs, Randy Brown, Chris Kozak and Trey Helm all scored over 20 points to lead the Stratford attack. The difference came at the free throw line where Stratford was 22-of-22 with Brown hitting 16-of-16.
CCS had four players in double figures, Borgarding, Casiano, Nelson and Baker but it wasn’t enough to top the Bulldogs at home.
Stratford broke out on top early and continued to inch their way up to a 14-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. CCS made a run late but Stratford held them off in the end for a 10-point win.
