In a foul plagued contest, the Pauls Valley Lady Panthers couldn’t keep pace with the Blanchard Lady Lions losing a 63-47 decision.
There were 52 fouls called in the game and a combined 66 free throws shot including 37 by the Lady Lions.
Pauls Valley stayed within striking distance and made a few runs to close he gap but couldn’t even get all the way back in the game.
Veronica Alvarado scored a game high 20 points to lead the Lady Panthers. Clarissa Mars had 9 and Cherykee Humphrey 8.
Pauls Valley played the OKC Knights in the seventh place game of the tournament on Saturday morning. They will return home on Friday of next week to host rival Purcell.
