The Stratford Bulldogs kept their win streak in tact winning their fourth straight by beating Marietta on the road 27-12.
The Bulldogs stepped out of district this week to play at Marietta.
The Bulldogs racked up 298 yards on the night with their balanced attack. Stratford had 162 yards rushing and 136 yards passing.
Dakota Noland had 129 yards on the ground with one touchdown. Randy Brown had 136 yards through the air on 6-of-10 passing with two touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown late to seal the win.
Noland got the scoring started with a 1-yard touchdown run.
The passing game struck for two touchdowns. Chase Bradstreet was on the receiving end of a 28-yard TD pass from Brown in the second quarter. Trey Helm was on the receiving end of a 45-yard Brown pass in the third quarter as Stratford opened up a 21-0 lead.
Cash Lang scored on the final play of the third quarter for Marietta and then added another late in the fourth.
Brown scored in-between Lang’s touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
Isaac Miller led the Bulldogs defense with 8 tackles and Noland and Wright added 7 each.
Stratford will face No. 2 Wayne this week.
