Six Garvin County teams started the football playoffs. After Friday night only two remain, Maysville and Lindsay.
Maysville, playing in their first home playoff game in over 15 years, won their first playoff game in as many years defeating Apache 46-12.
Maysville advances to the second round where they will be on the road to Christian Heritage Academy on Saturday night.
Lindsay pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the day as they went on the road and defeated the Davis Wolves 30-17.
Lindsay will be on the road to face tradition rich Millwood on Saturday.
Elmore City got a pair of second half touchdowns one a 41-yarder from Colby Kile and a 10-yarder from Jay Anderson but it came too late in a 48-12 loss to Snyder. Daniel Valderas had over 300 yards rushing in the win for Snyder.
Paoli found out that the No. 1 team in Class B was for real in a 49-0 loss to Garber. Turnovers cost the Pugs big all night but they found the movement tough against a stingy defense.
Stratford played well but not well enough to win dropping a 20-6 decision to Central Sallisaw.
