The Lindsay Leopardettes had to scramble in the fourth quarter but 17 straight points pushed the Leopardettes to a 56-41 win over Kingfisher and a date in the Area Consolation Finals Saturday night.
Lindsay had led by 15 at one point in the second half but Kingfisher made a comeback to cut the lead to one with just over five minutes left in the game.
Lindsay got on a roll on both ends of the court. They scored 15 straight points on offense while holding Kingfisher without a basket for over four minutes.
Kingfisher got a three late but the damage was already done as Lindsay moved to within one game of the state tournament.
Molly Hibbard had a big game with a double double. Hibbard led the way with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Brittany Lujan and Whitney Metker had 10 points each; Morgan Moore had 8, Macey Hatfield 7 and Elanee Allison 5 in the Leopardette win.
