After losing back-to-back games over the weekend in the Jeff Davis Memorial the Pauls Valley Panthers rebounded with an 8-0 win over Comanche on Monday.
PV wins opener, falls in semis
The No. 19 team in Class 4A won their opener in the initial Jeff Davis Memorial Spring Break Classic as Pauls Valley defeated Marietta 10-5 on Thursday. They ran into a buzz saw in the semifinals against Sulphur losing 8-2.
Williams leads PV to win over Elgin
Sophomore Treston Williams hit the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the seventh inning. When it left the bat it was headed over the head of the left fielder and had a chance to score David Flores from first.
