Jamie Lynn Fisher

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Jamie Lynn Fisher of Sulphur, Oklahoma was born to James Robert Fisher and Sandra Jane (Woodell) Fisher on July 12, 1979 in Norman, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 3, 2013 at the age of 33 years.

Jamie spent her childhood in Elmore City, Oklahoma where she attended Elmore City schools. She was an outstanding member of the 4-H Club and took great pride in caring for her animals, which she considered her pets.

Jamie traveled to Denver, Colorado and many places throughout the United States with the 4-H Club showing her calves.

She was chosen to be a member of the Garvin County 4-H Hall of Fame…a prestigious honor for 4-H youth who demonstrate qualities of discipline, strong character, leadership and determination. Jamie was a winner of many awards because of the qualities she possessed.

She knew everyone and never met a stranger. Jamie was accepted in recent years as a member of the Pipefitter’s Union Local 344.

She was most proud to be the mother of her son Wyatt, who followed in his mother’s footsteps in participating in beef showmanship. Jamie encouraged him in every way. 

Ms. Fisher is survived by 1 son, Wyatt  Fisher of the home; mother, Sandra Fisher of Norman, Oklahoma; father, James Robert Fisher of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Stephanie Fisher of Norman, Oklahoma, and Dana Moore of Norman, Oklahoma; and ahost of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Chaplain Mike Bumgarner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
