Ruby S. Montgomery (notice)

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Ruby S. Montgomery, 89, of Moore passed away Jan. 23, 2013 in Moore, Okla.

Ruby was born Oct. 12, 1923 in Foster, Okla., to James P. and Neva (Cannon) Southern. She was married to James Robert Montgomery Sr. on the Garvin County line on Dec. 21, 1940.

Funeral services are pending with the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.

A Call for Donations

Helping spread the word in as many places as possible Tuesday morning, Pauls Valley resident Kalista Basaldua puts up Main Street Pauls Valley posters listing items needed for those impacted by Monday’s tornado in the Moore area. Since word started spreading, the response has been overwhelmingly positive with several truck loads dropped off at a distribution point in Norman.
