Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Floyd Truman Jones, 76, of Pauls Valley was born Aug. 15, 1936 in Alma, Okla., and passed from this life Jan. 29, 2013 in Pauls Valley.

Floyd grew up and attended school at Velma-Alma. He served his country in the U.S. Army and made his home at County Line, Okla., just southwest of Garvin County, following his service. Floyd owned and operated Floyd’s Pawn Shop and also worked as a machinist for many years.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
