Mary Hunter

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Mary A. Hunter, 78, of Norman passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at Cedar Creek Living Center due to complications from lung cancer.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.

Mary was born in 1934 in Pauls Valley to Paul and Hattie Palmertree and grew up in Wynnewood.

Later, she lived in Norman with her husband, Don Hunter, and her three sons, David Courtney and Donald and Dennis Hunter. She also lived for several years in West Germany with her husband and two elder children as an Army family.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association (local office, 748-4674).

Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
