Pauls Valley, Oklahoma —
Lenora Daniel of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Elmore City, Oklahoma, was born to Elbert and Della (Simmons) Pyle on February 14, 1930 in Garvin County, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 20, 2013 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 83 years.
Lenora grew up in the Garvin County area and graduated from Elmore City High School. She worked as a nurses aide at the Turner Clinic at the Pauls Valley State School.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting. Her life revolved around family and friends. She loved to share family stories. She will be remembered as a great storyteller. Lenora loved to do and care for others. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Daniel is survived by her sister Helen “Bunny” (Pyle) Burris of Liberty, Mo.
Surviving nieces are Jena Wallace, Fort Worth, Texas, Charlotte Duane of Parkville, Mo., Kathy Pyle of Kerrville, Texas and Kelly Pyle of Austin, Texas.
Surviving nephews are Biff Pyle of Elmore City, Okla., Bill Burris of Holt, Mo., Joe Pyle of Fort Worth, Texas and Mick Burris of Denver, Colo.
“Nona” as she was lovingly known to family was especially close to Great Niece Laine Wallace and Great Nephew Jarrett Pyle.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Daniel; parents Elbert and Della Pyle; and siblings Billy Joe Pyle, Madaline P. Pyle Davis, Sammy G. Pyle, and Burl B. Pyle.
Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, February 22, 103 at 10:30 a.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley with Rev. Brad Dery officiating. Interment was in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
