Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Murry Wayne Baker, 82, of Lindsay was born March 29, 1930 and passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, January 11 at the First Christian Church in Lindsay.

Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery at Lindsay.

Helping meet a need

Acting as an example of the kindness that has resulted from a request for donations from Main Street Pauls Valley, local resident Holley Sanders is seen here helping carry supplies along with Paramedic John Stegall to her truck earlier this morning. EMS through Pauls Valley General Hospital is another local organization that has helped gather items and take it to the Main Street Office at the corner of Paul and Walnut Streets. "Two friends of mine lost their homes and I felt for them," said Sanders, who is among those who have offered to take items to a drop off site in Norman. "I wanted to do something."
