Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Marquita Simmons, 71, of Maysville passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 in Athens, Texas.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Maysville First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville.

Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville.

Double Dog Dare Display

Bringing a crowd of his own to the window display at the Toy & Action Figure Museum earlier this week, museum employee Josh Satterlee prepares an older version of a track to promote the 8th Hot Wheels Double Dog Dare Derby. It is returning as its own separate event Saturday, May 25 with games and other activities joining the fun.
