Water rationing to lead council meeting

emann@pvdemocrat.com — The Pauls Valley City Council and Municipal Authority will both hold meetings at City Hall at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The meetings are open to the public.

The following items are on the agenda:

• Consideration of approving a mandatory water rationing plan as presented by City Manager James Frizell

• Consideration of approving an adjusted Pauls Valley urban map.

• Consideration of approving an intergovernmental agreement with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

• Consideration of a proposal from White Peacock Productions for website integration and custom design for the Pauls Valley Website as recommended by the Pauls Valley Tourism Board.

•Consideration of denying a tort claim from Tom Riggs for damages that occurred on Oct. 17, 2012 as recommended by the city’s liability carrier.

An executive session may discuss a pending investigation, employee negotiations and discussing the purchase of or appraisal of property. Comments will also be heard from the city manager, city attorney, the city council, trust manager, trust attorney, trustee and the public.

New Councilman Swear In

Joining the Pauls Valley City Council officially for the first time during Tuesday’s meeting, Patrick Grimmett was sworn in by acting Mayor Billy Riddle that evening. He joins the council after defeating former Mayor Tim Gamble in the elections held on April 2.
